RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY
RESOLUTION #03-75
WHEREAS, the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) contracts with Ingham County to arrange for certain environmental health services provided by the Health Department; and
WHEREAS, the 2002-2003 Local Health Department Agreement with the Department of Environmental Quality Drinking Water and Radiological Protection Division was authorized in Resolution 02-243; and
WHEREAS, the MDEQ has proposed to amend the 2002-2003 agreement which decreases the budget for the On-site Sewage Requirements from $99,386 to $98,658 and Drinking Water Supply Requirements from $48,193 to $47,840; and
WHEREAS, the Health Officer recommends that the Board of Commissioners authorize the amendment.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Health Officer recommends that the Board of Commissioners authorize an amendment to the 2002-2003 Agreement between MDEQ and the Ingham County Health Department.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Amendment shall reduce state funds for the Ont-Site Sewage Program from $99,386 to $98,658 and for the Drinking Water Supply program from $48,193 to $47,840.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other conditions of the original agreement remain the same.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board Chairperson is authorized to sign the Amendment after review by the County Attorney.
